A day we commemorate the Union of African countries on May 25, 1963 to form the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) now called the African Union (AU). The spirit of the organisation was initially to champion the Independence, freedom and liberation from colonial rule and now it has evolved to promote unity among African people and help bring about Socioeconomic freedom to its members.

At Mozaiks, Africa Day means a lot to us and we are committed to contribute in our own small way, the true essence of Socioeconomic Freedom through the promotion and celebration of African Art, African Artists and Culture.
